“Now this is my kind of arb, bunch of South African dudes in kilts posing with flavoured milk in front of a mural of Bob frickin Marley… Not to mention metal heads, bagpipe players and full grown hairy-belly men jumping up and down like little boys for milkies! This is me on a mission to drop Steri’s with the good folks of Cool Runnings.. the picture if of me of the stupendously titled Haggis and Bong. Also passed on the Steri loving to Jack Hammer and Prevail (who have an awesome chick drummer). Chilly Stumpings y’all.”

On behalf of Stump Towers it is herewith my great pleasure to welcome Christo van Gemert (a.k.a Christosaurus) to the very awesome and rad-ass Steri family. (cue applause) For those of you who haven’t seen the video, Christo was Sterinaded by his very own screaming fan club as a reward for his awesomeness.

A few words from Christosaurus himself :

“Unfortunately I was born with two sharp teeth (all the better to puncture Steri lids) and a pale complexion. At around age 2 I developed an unhealthy appetite for blood plasma, and when I was 17 my mom broke the news to me, when I asked why I’m not in any family albums: I’m a vampire.

Of course, we don’t photograph well and the advances in digital photography have not done anything to make a difference. All those awkward photos where people are smiling at an invisible person next to them? Yup. Me. “

Christo you’re awesome! You will soon become the envy of Steri fans all over the world.

We anointed Christo, our first Jozi official unofficial Steri Stumpie ambassador, on Thursday. Just to prove how much we appreciate those that dedicate their time to furthering the aims of the Flavour Nation we dispatched our new ambassador reward: the Steri Fan Club. Basically a bunch of excitable young ladies who think you’re the best thing since that dude from Twilight… (for five minutes). More on Christo shortly but for now enjoy the video.

Although the World Cup is done and dusted we thought we’d raise the Steri flag one more time for the Kick off of a lifetime for the next ultimate Steri flavour face-off : Choccie vs Strawberry-wam!

Defending the unicorns of Steri Strawberry we have the awesome of awesomeness Dan Nash and in the Chocolate corner we have the raddest of rad asses Shaun Oakes!

Who will win this battle of epidemic proportions? Who will take home the ultimate title of the Steri face-off?

The best thing about life in Steri land is that you never know which crazy, awesome and random characters are next going to come crashing into your world, hungry for some Steri lovin’!. If you’re into Afrikaans rap (and who isn’t?) combined with the most random music video in the freakin world then check out this band fresh outta the Potch oven: ekhouvanjou,okay!

As if they can be any more awesome, they even classify their genre of music as “Steri-Voet-Stumper” – how rad is that! It was inevitable… I was just about to dispatch our flying monkeys to deliver their Steri drop when they one-uped me and came to Stump Towers to meet me personally! Ah love it when my Monday starts with a dose of Steri and Afrikaner rap…
