At Stump Towers we pride ourselves on always recognizing the random acts of devotion performed by our fans. Our latest random, Dominic (a self proclaimed Steriholic) made quite the impression on the Steri community with her ubah-awhsum Steri Justice Cartoons so we decided to anoint her as our latest Official Unofficial Ambassador (for Strawberry).

To get to know the real Dominic we conducted this probing in-depth interview:

Steri: You chose to represent Strawberry, interesting choice. Is this because it’s your most favourite flavour in the whole wide world, or is it because Strawberry is a superhero’s version of spinach for Popeye?
Dom: “It was the first on the list of favourites, but it does provide an extra boost to all heroes”

Steri: How many Steri’s would you say you knock back in a week?
Dom: “Only 1 or 2. I give most of my steri’s to Steri Justice. It’s his life blood”

Steri: So what do you do when you’re not designing Steri Justice cartoons?
Dom: “Designing other heroes and airbrushing fridges as practice”

Steri: Tell us about the craziest way you have ever drunk Steri?
Dom: “Not very crazy, I just bit the bottom of the bottle and drank it under the stands at school”

Now that you have met our radass Strawberry Ambassadress we hope that her example will inspire you to similar acts of devotion.. Send us those Steri acts of passion and who knows, you might just be next to earn yourself very own marching band.

Being the “Steri Girl” has its perks (beyond having an endless supply of milky goodness)! Last week I got to sit in on…(wait for it)….(a bit more)..A Van Coke Kartel rehearsal!(u-hu!) How freakin rad is that! They’re new album “Skop,Skiet & Donner” is totally BEdonnerd.

In true VCK style they “skop, skiet and donner” down memory lane, singing about being Capetonians, partying endlessly and hanging out.

So for my last drop I really had to go on a quest – like in freakin bundu-bashing to meet up with the awesome ouks from Zinkplaat (translation = corrugated metal). But boy-o-boy it was worth the mission…Firstly I was told to meet them on this weird deserted farm place in the middle of flippen nowhere (uh somerset west) where they were supposed to be rehearsing. Yeah, when I got there it was pitch black, with a few random houses and a bunch of goats…you can imagine.

Eventually I found them! BUT only to find out that their lead guitarist had pitched up to the rehearsal without his guitar…(apparently its not an obvious thing to bring along). Eventually I ended up drinking some stumpies with the guys (while waiting for mr guitar dude to return)…

“Whilst working my freakin ass off at Stellenbosch Jool (…yea yea ok, I pardied my freakin ass off…), I managed to gatecrash Tollie Square and round up these blokes to be Sterisized just after their show (explains the sweaty look..). So, “Foto na Dans” strange name I know, but apparently it incorporates the visual as well as musical aspect of there awesome being..bla bla read it on wikipedia – all I know is they flippen rock!

Foto Na Dans are totally the new class prefects in the Afrikaans rawk school. Their combo of indie/progressive rock, classic Afrikaans and drifting electronic sounds just makes you want to freakin jump on stage and get down with your bad self. No seriously, these guys have discovered a new bonus hidden level of awesomeness! No wonder they are being compared to names such as Muse, Bloc Party, Incubus and the Springbok Nude Girls to name but a few…”
